The ONAMAP Education Services
Department operates the ONAMAP Institute learning centres and
manages research and development of new continuing education
resources including the
CABC and
ARC educational
resources.
Webinars
Access webinars and professional
training programs offered by our trained continuing education team members
for free at the ONAMAP Institute.
Professional Development
Education is at the forefront of
every industry. ONAMAP offers professional development and
continuing education programs internationally. Our specially
trained seminar instructors are trained in Counselling, Education, Environmental Studies, Journalism,
Mental Health, Marketing, Web Development and Information Technology.
Our
programs are offered online at the ONAMAP Institute.
The ONAMAP Institute
Through partnerships with a number
of Canadian post-secondary and professional associations, the
ONAMAP Institute offers training and continuing education
programs for professionals in Canada.
The ONAMAP Institute also manages
international efforts to provide education to communities in
marginalized parts of the world. We recently launched a new
preschool education initiative at the Institute, designed to
help young children gain better access to relevant early
education in the Former Soviet Union and parts of Central Asia
and Africa.

Virtual Schools
The ONAMAP Institute offers two
streams of educational programming. We believe strongly in the
benefits of direct inter-personal interactions between teachers
and students and offer programs through the ONAMAP School of
Experiential Learning (OSEL). We offer online training and
resource programs to students through the ONAMAP Institute's
virtual schools (web-based information and resource centres).
When possible, we recommend OSEL programs but in cases where
cost, distance or a host of other factors prevent direct
interactions with our students, we offer online courses and
training programs through our virtual schools.
Education Resource Development
Consulting
Many educators and professionals
have an interest in developing academic resources but often
after having invested countless hours, sometimes months or even
years into the development of professional resources, are halted
at the production line when overwhelming decisions need to be
made regarding aesthetics, pricing, printing, distribution,
target markets and many more.
We are here to help. Our volunteer
teacher-consultants will be happy to guide you towards our
common goal; making a difference in the lives of young children
by providing them with quality education and resources. We can
help open doors and secure funding to help you reduce production
costs for your educational resources making it easier and more
affordable for educators to access your resources.
